It must be a slow morning over at the Denver Business Journal...
An early morning article states that only 7.41% of the metro area identifies themselves as having Irish descent. That puts the MHC at 24th among U.S. cities according to the bean counters at the U.S. Census Bureau. That puts Denver one slot behind... NYC? Yes, it's true.
Not really as shocking is that Boston ranks 1st w/ nearly 19% identifying themselves as potato eaters. Personally, I think this is an inflated number...but I'm not one to argue with a bunch of drunk Red Sox fans on that particular city's favorite holiday. Slainte Mhath!
Happy St. Patrick's Day, Denver Irish folks, wherever you are [Denver Business Journal]
